Divergent Dance Club is a vibrant, inclusive dance community for all ages and abilities. Our classes explore movement, music, and style, and can be attended in person or via video link.
We celebrate diversity and creativity, offering opportunities to perform at events and competitions, including our upcoming story dance for Waikikiri 2026.
Our teachers are formally trained in multiple dance styles and musical theatre, and we’re proudly sponsored by Divergent Solutions Wellness in the Whitsundays.

Theme: “What Does Wellness Mean in Your Community?”
🖌️ About the Competition
Calling all young creatives aged 8–18 years across the Whitsunday region!
Share your vision of wellness, connection, and community through art.
We celebrate inclusion, diversity, and culture, inviting all youth — including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people — to express their stories of wellness, belonging, and connection to land and sea.
Your artwork might explore:

💛 Diversity, identity, and inclusion
🎶 Art, dance, and cultural expression
🌸 Healing, happiness, and hope
🏆 PRIZES – Supporting Local!
✨ 1st Prize – $50 Voucher to a local Whitsunday business
✨ 2nd Prize – $25 Voucher to a local Whitsunday business
✨ 3rd Prize – $25 Voucher to a local Whitsunday business
All entries will be proudly displayed online as part of Wellness in the Whitsundays, with winners chosen by community vote.

Create your artwork on A3 paper or as a digital file.
Include your name, age, school (if applicable), and contact details.
Email your entry or a clear photo/scan of it to:

📜 RULES
One entry per person.
Artwork must be original and created by the entrant.
Must reflect the theme “What Does Wellness Mean in Your Community?”
All mediums welcome — traditional, digital, or mixed.
Parental/guardian consent required for entrants under 16.
By entering, you agree your artwork may be shared publicly (with credit).
